We have personally been invited to participate in this year’s Plano Juneteenth Parade and Celebration. The parade will feature the Plano East Basketball Team State Champions and their coaching staff as the Grand Marshals in addition to other teams, businesses, community members, and leaders from the East Side. The Plano Police will also be present with their magnificent horses. The parade will begin promptly at 11:00 AM at 1509 H Avenue, Plano, TX and will last about 1 hour. To secure your spot in the parade, please make sure to arrive by 10:00 AM.

Following the parade, festivities will continue at the Plano African American Museum and the Boys and Girls Club in the historic Douglass community. Attendees can enjoy live music, horse rides, a bounce house for kids, food trucks, a barbecue contest, and a variety of other exciting activities.
